Chrysler Town & Country is a minivan produced by the Chrysler division of the American company Chrysler since 1982. Town & Country has five generations, both long and short wheelbase versions, although the model currently only has a long wheelbase. In 1994, the 10 Year Anniversary Edition was released, and in 2004 - the Platinum Series. In 2008, Chrysler and Dodge celebrated 25 years of minivan production, reaching over 12 million sales, and introduced new versions of the Chrysler Town & Country and the Dodge Grand Caravan.
The total volume of the cabin was 5663 liters, and the volume of the luggage compartment with the second and third row seats folded was 3978 liters. [1]
Restyling of the fifth generation Town & Country debuted at the end of 2010 as a 2011 model. In May 2012, Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne announced that the company intended to discontinue production of the Town & Country minivan, replacing it with a luxury crossover [2]. However, it was later revealed that the next-generation minivan will be launched in the 2016 model year. Town & Country was replaced in 2016 by the Pacifica.
