The compact crossover Hyundai Tucson was introduced by the Korean company in 2004. The car was equipped with gasoline engines 2.0 (141 HP) and V6 2.7 (175 HP), as well as a two-liter turbodiesel, developing 113-150 forces. Buyers were offered versions with a manual transmission or with a four-speed "automatic", in the model range there were versions with front and all-wheel drive.
Only four-wheel drive cars with gasoline engines were supplied to Russia. Prices for the Hyundai Tucson started at $ 26,000.
The crossover left most markets in 2009 or 2010 with the appearance of the new Hyundai ix35, but, for example, in China, the car was on sale for several more years. And in Brazil, Tucson is still produced today - with a two-liter engine capable of running on gasoline or ethyl alcohol. In addition to Korea and Brazil, cars were also assembled in China, Taiwan and Ukraine.
